Sandro Giuliani, 20 February 1948 - 14 August 2021 was a Florentine painter, sculptor and engraver. Psychedelic experimentation and travels abroad had a significant influence on his artistic training which developed in multiple directions, from woodcut to oil painting, eventually maturing into wood and ceramic sculpture. He has been invited to exhibitions in Italy and abroad, obtaining much appreciation and receiving awards on several occasions.

Giuliani, fascinated by the thin line between the known and the unknown, the visible and the invisible, tries to translate the untranslatable, revealing the connections between spirituality, occultism and philosophy. The meaning of his works goes far beyond simple visual representation. Thus, through shapes, colors and symbols, alchemical art can emerge clearly, in a subtle dimension that escapes rational understanding.

The creative tension that arises between genius and madness, the two poles that characterize Giuliani, is thus mediated by art, offering a prism that continues to inspire, challenge, and their ability to transform inner experience into a unique creative expression.

“…I loved art, free, free from politics, religion, and commercial purposes.
This has consistently kept a creative, vibrant, and inexhaustible space alive within me!…”

- Sandro Giuliani
